Abstract: Siamo nel 1888, Mary Kelly e le sue amiche vivono nella disperazione nel più pericoloso slum londinese, Whitechapel. Quando la loro amica Anna viene rapita il gruppo è coinvolto in un complotto ad alto livello. In seguito anche Polly viene uccisa e allora si capisce che qualcuno sta dando loro la caccia. L'ispettore Fred Abberline, che per risolvere i casi ricorre anche a poteri psichici, si interessa al caso anche perchè si innamora di Mary.
