Abstract: Nel bosco Tigro vive insieme ad alcuni ottimi amici ma è triste perché non ci sono altri tigrotti come lui con cui possa andare a saltellare. Allora decide di attraversare il bosco dei Cento Acri per andare alla ricerca di suoi simili e dell'albero genealogico "più gigantissimo e grandemente grande che ci sia". La ricerca risulta vana, ma in quel momento Tigro riceve una lettera mandatagli dai suoi amici che lo hanno inseguito e sorvegliato. Per dargli nuova fiducia, Winnie l'orsetto, Roo il cangurino, Tappo il coniglio, Pimpi il porcellino e gli altri del gruppo, decidono di mascherarsi da tigri e andare a casa dello sfortunato amico. Tigro li accoglie con grande entusiasmo, li invita finalmente a saltare tutti insieme. Ma la verità viene fuori: scoperto l'inganno, Tigro si allontana nella bufera. Dopo un inseguimento pieno di pericoli e una burrasca spaventosa, Tigro e gli altri si ricongiungono. Ora Tigro capisce che quello dei suoi amici, anche se non sono tigrotti, è un affetto autentico, e possono essere proprio loro la famiglia che lui da tempo cercava (Il Cinematografo).
