Abstract: Die Geschichte dreht sich um die Zweitklässlerin Ella und ihre Mitschüler, die mit allen Mitteln versuchen, ihre kleine, von der Schließung bedrohten Schule zu retten. Abstract: Christiane Hörbiger, Michael Mendl, Muriel Baumeister und Rolf Hoppe glänzen in der Verfilmung des Theaterstücks von Friedrich Dürrenmatt "Der Besuch der alten Dame" Claire Zachanassian (Christiane Hörbiger), eine erfolgreiche Geschäftsfrau, Weltbürgerin und Milliardärin, reist in die Stadt Güllen. Hier hat sie einst als Klara Wäscher gelebt, eine junge, schöne und lebenslustige Frau, die sich damals in Alfred Ill (Michael Mendl) verliebt hatte. Er war für sie die einzigartige, die ganz große Liebe, ohne Zweifel. Nach einem schweren Verkehrsunfall, bei dem Klara bleibende Schäden davon trägt, lässt Ill sie für eine bessere Partie fallen, verrät sie, tritt ihre Gefühle mit Füßen und verleugnet sogar das gemeinsame, ungeborene Kind. Danach hat Klara alles verloren: ihre Gesundheit, ihr Baby, ihre Liebe und den Glauben an das Gute im Menschen. Aber sie kämpft. Brutal gegen sich selbst und andere.
