Abstract: E' il 1952 e la radio diffonde in tutta l'Argentina la notizia della morte di Evita Peròn, personaggio che aveva cambiato la storia del Paese negli ultimi dieci anni. Parte un flashback, e la voce narrante del Che ricorda l'infanzia di Evita, figlia illegittima di un contadino, in una cittadina ad ovest di Buenos Aires. Cresciuta, Eva si lega ad Agustin Magaldi, famoso artista di tango con il quale arriva nella capitale. Ambiziosa e decisa, Eva vuole diventare attrice radiofonica e cinematografica e a tale scopo si introduce nei circoli importanti della società che conta. Quando conosce Juan Peròn, nome emergente della politica argentina, gli si affianca in maniera molto stretta. Superando le malelingue e l'opposizione dei benpensanti e dei militari, i due si sposano. Dopo il 1945, Peròn, viene eletto presidente e la moglie Evita ne è la prima consigliera e sostenitrice. Fa un viaggio in Europa, dà vita alla fondazione Eva Peròn per aiutare i bisognosi, forma il partito peronista delle donne e il suo carisma presso la popolazione aumenta a vista d'occhio. Nel momento della massima popolarità, Eva si ammala, le viene diagnosticato un tumore che nel giro di poco tempo la conduce alla morte. Abstract: "No." E' l'unica parola che sentiamo pronunciare in tutta la durata del film che non per niente in originale di chiama 'Silente Movie'. In luogo dei dialoghi parlano le gag, gli inseguimenti e le didascalie. Mel Spass, regista già famoso ma poi caduto in rovina votandosi alla bottiglia, vuol rinverdire le proprie glorie, e al tempo stesso risollevare le sorti di un produttore che sta per fallire, realizzando un film muto. Il produttore acconsente a finanziarglielo a patto che Mel riesca a scritturare alcuni divi. Aiutato dagli amici Trippa e Bellocchio, il regista convince a partecipare al suo film Burt Reynolds, James Caan, Liza Minnelli, Ann Bancroft e Paul Newman (solo il mimo Marcel Marceau gli dice di no). Un grosso gruppo immobiliare, la "Trangugia e Di Vora", che vuol metter le mani sui terreni della casa produttrice, tenta in tutti i modi di impedire che il film si faccia, anche gettando tra le braccia di Mel, per distoglierlo dalla sua idea, la "vamp" Vilma Kaplan. La ragazza, però, si innamora del regista, che può così girare il suo film e, tolta di mezzo per sempre la "Trangugia e Di Vora", ottenere lo sperato successo. (Cinematografo)

Abstract: Koyaanisqatsi wurde 1983 hauptsächlich in den Wüsten im Südwesten der USA sowie in New York mit einem winzigen Budget und ohne Drehbuch gedreht. Dann aber bekam der Film Unterstützung von Francis Ford Coppola und George Lucas und erreichte somit ein viel breiteres Publikum. Die Technik, die die Zeitrafferaufnahmen des Kameramannes Ron Fricke mit der repetitiven Musik von Glass verbindet, wie auch die umweltbewusste Bildersymbolik schlichen sich in das Bewusstsein der Pop-Kultur ein. Der Einfluss von Koyaanisqatsi ist in der Fernsehwerbung, in Musikvideos und natürlich auch in ähnlich gearteten Filmen mittlerweile unverwechselbar geworden. (bol.de)
