Abstract: Kurz vor seiner Inthronisation als neuer König des Himmelsreichs Asgard wird Thor ein Opfer seines Temperaments. Er lässt sich zu einem Vergeltungsschlag gegen die frostigen Riesen von Jotunheim provozieren, womit der Krieg zwischen den Erzfeinden erneut ausbricht. Von Vater Odin seiner Kräfte beraubt wird Thor auf die Erde verbannt. Dort muss er Vernunft lernen und sich als Nachfolger seines Vaters würdig erweisen.
