Abstract: A Nazareth, sotto un aspetto di banale normalità cova la follia. Sotto pressione per i suoi affari fallimentari, un uomo decide di prendere in mano la situazione e prova a spezzare la spirale delle meschine ostilità, rimanendone però colpito. L'uomo è il padre di E.S. Nasce una storia d'amore fra un palestinese di Gerusalemme ed una palestinese di Ramallah. L'uomo, E.S., fa la spola fra suo padre, sofferente, e l'amore della sua vita, cercando di mantenere entrambi vitali. Ma a causa della situazione politica la libertà di movimento della donna finisce al check point israeliano fra le due città. Impossibilitati ad attraversarlo, gli amanti si incontrano in un pezzo di deserto a fianco del check point. I due amanti non possono sfuggire alla realtà dell'occupazione, non possono preservare la loro intimità dall'assedio.
